Health Workshop 2010

Last March 20, CALA celebrate the health and wellness with the health workshop.  It was sponsored by the New Apostolic Church,  Heart & Stroke Foundation, as well as Projenesis,  nursing and paramedics Program of Fanshawe College, Thames Emergency Medical Service, Health Unit, Osteoporosis Canada, Canadian Cancer Society, Boys & Girls Club, The Coronary Health Improvement Project SWO.

First Open House

Cala started the year with the first Open House last February the first wher our members had the opportunity to do some networking meanwhile they enjoy a good night.    The event had place at the German Club, and it was a total success! The journalist Dago Sánchez launched his new book  called  Un Dominicano En Peligro.

Multicultural Haiti Relief Concert

We were invited to participate in the “Multicultural Haitiì Relief Concert”  last month of March. Few members of  CALA participate with different performances sharing our music and traditions.  People from Peru, Panama, Chile and  Brazil fulfilled the stage of the Centennial Hall with colors and the warmest  of our culture.
